Dear MediPA Members,

It is my distinct honor and privilege to begin my term as the president of the Medical Postgraduate Association (MediPA) for 2020/21. I take this opportunity to express my gratitude for the selfless dedication and efforts of all of our committees, under the leadership of the advisor, Prof Dr Rohana Abdul Ghani, co-advisor Dr Norhafiza Razali and staff from Center for Postgraduate and Professional Training, Faculty of Medicine, UiTM. I am looking forward to this wonderful journey in working together in contributing towards the community, especially postgraduate students under Faculty of Medicine.

MediPA’s vision is to promote collaboration among medical postgraduate students from wide range of fields of medicine, scientific research, education, training and publications. We are devoted to expand the horizon of medical and scientific discovery, be it in the form of scientific training, mentorship, sharing of scientific findings and establish important contacts to facilitate scientific exchange and collaboration. Apart from that, we represent the voice of the students in providing the best learning experience in the campus. So, I give my highest gratitude for the continued support, and please don’t hesitate to share your ideas and insights which will make us even better. It goes by the saying by Henry Ford, "coming together is a beginning, staying together is progress, and working together is success".
